Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question? Find our most commonly asked questions below. If you don’t find your answer please email or call our office, and someone will take care of you promptly.

Do You Accept Insurance?

Yes, we do accept insurance. On your second visit with us, we will check your benefits and explain to you what your insurance will cover, and what out-of-pocket costs there will be, if any.

What Type of Payment Plans Do You Have?

Our number one concern at Harlan Chiropractic and Acupuncture is your health, which is why we work with our patients to agree on a payment plan that fits your budget.

Will the Treatment Hurt?

No — our approach to chiropractic care is very gentle. This approach allows you to be more relaxed during your adjustment, thus allowing for better movement.

How Long Will It Take Till I Start Feeling Better?

Every case is a little different, but typically patients feel relief after their first visit.

How Long Will a Typical Visit Take?

We strive to give our very best to our patients on every visit. While we will never rush you through a visit and will devote as much time is needed, we also understand that sometimes your time is limited, so we also try not add any unnecessary treatments to your visit.

Your first visit typically takes approximately 30 minutes, as we perform a complete case history and examination. On your second visit, we show you your X-Rays explain all findings from your first exam; this usually last between 10-15 minutes, with most follow-up visits taking that amount of time or less.

Do You Take X-rays in Office?

Yes, we have X-rays available in house and recommend them for most of our patients. Our doctors conduct the X-rays themselves.

Exclusive Offer

I was told I needed to see a surgeon for my shoulder rotator cuff tear. After seeing Dr. Harlan, I can lift my arm up above my head again without pain. Thank you.
